18" DK FREEDOM Dressage saddle -Lovely condition. EXCELLENT PRICE!

Custom 18" DK FREEDOM Monoflap fully adjustable Dressage saddle in excellent used condition. Overall this saddle is in beautiful shape BUT there is a catch to the low asking price. This saddle was outfitted with flair panels like many DK saddles and (as has been my experience with Flair) after some seasons of use the airbags start to leak and no longer hold air uniformly. In this saddles case, one airbag no longer holds air and the other will not stay firm. I was going to get the whole system removed and replaced with flocking (like a lot of people do with saddles that have had the Flair system fail) but just don't have the time to deal with sending it out. I was quoted $250 by a local saddler for it to be converted to wool.Besides the Flair, this saddle is in really fine shape and will provide years of service to its new owner. So if there is someone out there that has been shopping for one of these saddles, can't afford the $2K+ price tag that heavily used DK Freedoms sell for and is willing to take it in to a saddler for Flair repair or flocking replacement you would have a fantastic saddle for under $2K. REMEMBER these saddles sell new for well over $6K nowadays. Lovely leather color combo with the burgundy piping contrasting with the black. Tree is sound, billets are good. Absolutely NO nicks or dings. Its a really lovely saddle but it CAN NOT be used in its current state = HENCE PRICE.PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT PICS.Seat measures a true 18"Flap measures approx 16"Gullet measures approx 6 1/2" Tree is currently adjusted to medium-wide.Serial # reads 0037 18 Made in Canada.Saddle is USED and has a broken Flair panel.
