Sierra Designs Bedouin 6 Camping TentBrand New with TagsI found several of these Sierra Designs Bedouin 6 tents at a local estate sale. They were still in the original REI shipping box and had never been used. They originally retailed for about $450 apiece. The pictures you see are of the tent I'm keeping for myself. The tents are all identical. I only unpacked the tents in this auction to ensure everything was there that was supposed to be. This auction is for "one" Bedouin 6 tent and includes metal stakes and guy lines.Reviews call the Bedouin 6 the Shangri-La of 3-season tents.  It has 76 square feet of interior space.  It has over 6 feet in interior height.  It has 2 doors and 2 vestibules.  It has locking pole tips, a stash door, gear pockets, color-coded fly attachment, swift clips for the poles and a SuperSeal floor.  All seams are taped. The poles are aluminum. The tent came factory treated with Ultra-Fresh to help prevent the growth of microorganisms that can cause stains and odors.  The storage duffel bag is first-class and roomy enough that when you repack the tent it will fit in the bag with the poles.I have to say I was impressed with my first set-up of the tent in the back yard.  It has instructions that are useful especially when installing the ridgepole.  The only issue I had is that the shock-cord in the poles on my tent was a little stretched from being stored folded up (still stretchy, not dry-rotted).  However, I solved that pretty easily on my Bedouin 6.  The poles have end caps that unscrew.  The shock cord is tied to the end caps.  I pulled up the slack on the shock cord, trimmed it, and retied it to the end cap and screwed it back in.  Problem solved.  The overall construction of the tent is really terrific.  I've had Sierra Designs tents in the past and always been very happy.   And when you look at what you get with your average, say, Coleman tent (fiberglass poles, sketchy rain fly, etc), there's just no comparison. It is roomy inside.  The pamphlet that comes tied to the storage duffle bag zipper says it has room for 6 adults, or 2 adults, 2 kids, a pack-and-play and the family dog.  I'd say the 6 adults would have to be close friends, but for a family with a couple of kids, absolutely!  The pamphlet also says that the trail weight is 15 lbs. 8 oz. and packed weight is 16 lbs. 8 oz.  I weighed it in the bag and my scale indicates it's closer to 18 lbs.
