Tree: Completely adjustable Schleese Adaptree is currently set at a medium-wide. Seat: This is a deep, center balanced 17.5" saddle on a number 2 tree. It still sits like an 17.5" for the rider but is shorter in length through the tree to work especially well for horses with a shorter saddle support area (short coupled). This is a normal feature of the Triumph model. Color: Black. Leather: Covered in lovely, soft and grippy French style leather throughout. Panels: Wool flocked panels offer a generous at least 5-finger width gullet channel throughout. This saddle has extreme cutback shoulder relief panels for exceptional freedom of the horse's shoulder. It has a relief wedge panel that shortens the length of the panel to accommodate short coupled horses.Condition: Excellent to exceptional, with only the normal signs of use and good care. It has the normal, light rubs on the flaps from boots and stirrup leathers and that is it. The billets are in really nice shape as well. The Triumph is designed as a close contact dressage saddle and gives you the feel that your thigh is right against the horse's side. Adjustable thigh blocks give the rider the freedom to change their leg supports, while encouraging the straight line shoulder-hips-heels position. The independent 3/4 panel comes with extreme shoulder relief system to provide superior shoulder freedom. The independent panel keeps the panel as flat and wide as possible allowing the spine to move, bend and lift with the horse's motion during collection. The Triumph gives close contact and comfort for the rider who likes the security and softness of a very deep seat. This saddle was built on an adjustable Schleese tree ("Adaptree") and with backward angled tree points is a wonderful saddle for freeing the shoulder. This saddle was ordered with the optional cut away shoulder panel for even more freedom of the scapula. Schleese can custom refit this saddle to your horse, as the panels and tree are both adjustable. Every aspect of this saddle is adjustable. The blocks can be moved around or switched out between the two supplied along with other shapes and sizes you can get from Schleese.
