Welcome to my item(s) for sale here on Ebay :) Up for bids is a pretty cool camping tent. I opened the box to take a peek inside and all is good except for the poles. Seems like previous owner bought a new item, placed their used poles in the new tent and returned this item. Tent is new but poles are used and 1 pole has split. It can be fixed but new owner will need to buy a pole section at sports store. So you will receive a new tent with used poles and one of them needing repair. Aluminum stakes are new as well. New tent in open box. Box shows wear and tent will ship in original box as well. I am somewhat familiar with the items I sell here therefore will try to describe them as accurately as I can. Nowadays, customers expect NEW or Like New items when buying items that are stated as USED/Not Working and are quick to demand a partial refund. As a customer myself, I understand that a consumer has certain expectations from the people that they buy from but, unfortunately, there are people here on Ebay that simply complain about anything just to get a discount/refund. For example, if I am selling a coffee brewer and state the item as used and take pictures of the item, there is that customer that will win the auction to later complain about coffee residue in a used coffee brewer..or..."You listed a GRAY coffee brewer and actually got a LIGHT GRAY coffee brewer therefore want to return the item or refund some of my payment as the item is not as described"........Or the user errors that users run into when trying to set up stuff that needs setting up and file a complaint as a non working item because they couldn't figure it out...Lastly, complaining due to things missing from the original package when those items are neither mentioned in the description nor shown in the pictures. All I ask is, please read the description, look at the pictures, ask questions, and use common sense when buying used items. Why do I sell here on Ebay? As everyone else, it is a hobby that complements my income as a teacher. I am Disabled Navy Vet. who now teaches Physical Education to a bunch of AWESOME elementary kids. I do not try to sell non working items as working nor am I here to dupe people out of their money...I simply sell stuff that I, myself would love to pay less than what it retails for. You may see many of my items selling as "not working for parts" but in the description I state that it is indeed working...why do I do this? 1.To discourage the people that want to take advantage of a good deal by trying to get a better deal by complaining about something that should have been avoided by using common sense. 2. The item may work as intended but I may not have the resources available to fully test the item, therefore requiring a potential customer to hold some knowledge on the item so they can make an educated decision. Why do I sell at $.99? Well, I don't. I start the auctions at .99 but they rarely end at .99. It simply keeps the Ebay running cost a little lower. I have 100% feedback and have had it for about 10 years now so I do take care of my customers...all I ask in return is to please use common sense. If you have super high expectations and demands when shopping for used Items, I can only recommend to buy the item NEW here on Ebay, Amazon, or your local mortar and brick store.
