Used once - as in one night - on grass, I was planning on longer, base camp-style adventures so added this bomber three person tent to our quiver. But all we really ever use is our two person tent - which I'm keeping :-). All to say that this tent is in perfect condition - no issues.Alas, this winner of the 2012 National Geographic Gear of the Year, and Backpacker's 2012 Editor's Choice Snow Award must be sent off to you who will hopefully run it through it's paces! This is a true four-season mountaineering tent designed and tested by Ed Viestures and other veteran mountain guides, and is a steal as it retails for $699.The venting is on the three seater is superb, so you'll have a better experience battling condensation. The main vestibule is enormous, and yes, there are two doors (essential) with a modest vestibule in the back. The walls are super steep which maximizes your living space - especially welcome if you have to sit out a storm for days."'This is the best four-season tent I've ever used,' said one tester after his 2012 Everest expedition. Even at 26,000 feet, with winds routinely topping 50 mph, he proclaimed this six-pole dome (plus a pole for the fly) quick to pitch and solid as a rock."
Backpacker MagazineOn your expeditions, research the terrain, route and weather patterns, assemble the right team, train like your life depends on it (it does), and for Pete's sake, don't get caught out in the cold without the wrong shelter system. Your life depends on that too.Adventure on!
