18" M Stubben Scandica VSDGorgeous, well kept Stubben Scandica VSD saddle. This is an all purpose model slightly towards dressage. It will keep your leg long and secure for flat work, and will keep you safe with slightly shortened stir ups over small jumps! The model Scandica has Elk leather on the seat and flaps, which is soft and luxurious. This saddle is overall in great shape, with only normal signs of use, but no rips or tears. Some creases and and wear are starting to show on the side of the seat, which happens to all Scandica models as the elk leather ages, see pictures. These blemishes are barely visible, hidden by the rider's seat, and happen on all Scandica models on the elk surface. The billets and tree are sound. This saddle is ready to use today. It still has a gorgeous black color, and only in very bright sunlight can you see a hint of brown starting to come out on the seat and panels. In pretty much any other weather/condition it looks pitch black.The seat is just about 18" (see measurement picture), making it perfect for an adult rider. The tree is stamped 30cm, which is a Stubben size medium, and the point to point measure (see above) also suggests this is a medium, perhaps very slighly medium-wide fit saddle. We recommend every saddle be adjusted in flocking for optimal fit for your individual horse.This saddle retails new for $2400, get yours here in very good used condition for a fraction of the price.Please look carefully at all pictures.
