This light has been customized/modified by a professional to improve power and performance. The single LED has been converted to a triple LED using three CREE XPL LEDs at 5700K (cool white). An additional heatsink has been added to help dissipate the heat. This upgrade boosts the standard PD35 from 850 to 1400 lumens. The triple LED is a great flood light (spreading the light broadly rather than focusing in on a hotspot). I've carried it so there's some normal superficial wear both otherwise it's great. It requires the use of a single rechargeable 18650 battery, which I will include with the item.
