17.5 " Stubben Roxane VSS This is a gorgeous, black Stubben Roxane VSS saddle. The VSS type is an all-purpose saddle geared towards jumping. It has front and full lengths rear blocks. The Roxane is build on an extra narrow twist which allows for a very close leg on the horse. The blocks keep the leg secure over jumps, and will let you lengthen your legs nicely for flat work as well. Fit: This saddle is stamped 30 cm, which is a Stubben Medium tree. The gullet measures medium as well (see pictures). For reference, Stubben sizes trees as 27 (very narrow), 28 (narrow) 29 (medium narrow) 30 (medium) 31 (medium wide) 32 (wide) and 34 (extra wide). A medium tree will fit on a large number of average build horses. The seat is a size 17.5", perfect for the average adult rider. Condition: This saddle is in excellent used condition. It has only very minor signs of wear, such as discolorations where the leather touch the saddle, and superficial scratches. It appears a cat jumped on it once, there are some very slight claw marks on the seat, see picture 9. These aren't visible while riding. The tree and billets appear sound. Overall this saddle is in great condition, and I would have no problems riding it in the show ring.
