I have a beautiful FALLIS Genuine Balanced Ride made in Elbert, Co.  The seat size is about 15.5".  Fallis saddles have a flatter seat than most other saddles so you can usually ride in a smaller size.  I am not a small person and I love my 2 other Fallis saddles that are 14" and 14.5".  The saddle has beautiful partial tooling in the tame rose pattern.  The leather is thick and very supple and the tooling just makes it look like real quality.  The skirts are called butterfly skirts.
The horn is 4" and wrapped for roping.  The stirrups are 3.5" bell and rawhide covered.  The length of he saddle is 26".  Gullet measures 8".  This saddle is perfect for a stout short backed horse.  The complete rear cinch is there also. The saddle is in very good condition with only a scuff mark on the seat.  The right side rear strings are missing on the saddle - I can send some from my other saddle if you want them but a lot of people don't want them.  The fleece which is all wool is quite compacted and there is a wear spot by each side of the gullet.  There would be no need to reline the saddle - just use a good pad.I have ridden in Fallis saddles since the 1970's and have found nothing I like better.  There is no reserve on this saddle.  Look at the Fallis saddle web site and you will see a new one is over $3000.
