Medium tree; but since it is a bates saddle, the tree size can be changed. I am including 3 sets of the nuts and bolts used to accomplish that. I have owned the saddle since 2007 when I bought it new. It does show signs of wear and tear, as I am an eventer and have taken it out on cross country numerous times. There are some small marks (from a bite actually, bestowed by my horse) on the cantle, and rub marks where the stirrup leathers hung, but besides that, the saddle is in great, used, condition.
