This is as well cared for and maintained saddle that I rode during my college years (1986-1990) when I worked as a feed lot pen rider for a livestock research facility Montana. It is not a modern Saddle with a fiberglass or composite tree. It is built on a traditional modified association tree (wood and rawhide for superior strength and fit). It has raised swells and a deep leather seat, rolled cantel, and roughout fenders and stirrup leathers. It is a super comfortable saddle with great balance for roping, penning, or just riding a trail. It comes with a couple different sets of stirrups (rawhide, and aluminum buckeroo rings, and traditional 2" leather) and a matched set of hobbles. It includes a traditional Navajo woven wool pad and a half inch hospital under pad. It also has a matching breast collar. It has been in storage for several years but I still clean and oil it at least once every year. I also have a good collection of bridles, reins, halters, tie-downs, horse blankets, and other equipment to sell and could put together a good package deal for all or any of it. If you need additional pictures or descriptions please let me know.
