Still thinking of your latest holiday trips maybe? You might have seen one of these fantastic Dutch pyramid tents! Maybe the owners invited you to take a close look, to feel the strong canvas of a De Waard, often called the Rolls Royce of tents. They are highly recommended on the UK Campsite. More and more British tent campers own a Dutch canvas tent now and discover they are second to none with regards to quality, robustness and shape. The make of these tent is excellent, no compromise on any detail. A firm pvc sewn in groundsheet, strong, breathable canvas, the shape and the number of pegs make them rocksteady. Dry feet inside, no draught, no condensation, a cosy feel during cold damp camps, bearable temps during hot summer days.This is a Jan van Gent, a spacious tent thanks to the both main poles inside. The steep side slopes of the tent give lots of standing height, up to 240 cm. The tent looks a lot like the Zilvermeeuw, but this one is deeper and a bit wider though. The suncanopy and the side screen create a nice porch outside. The triangular sidepanel can be zipped on both sides of the front. Useful extra's are the meshdoor, you can replace the normal door panel by this item, fully zipped in.
