Made in England, The Classic saddle at one time was made by Rembrant saddlery. It is now Classic saddlery. This saddle has a wide tree, and allows freedom for the shoulder of the horse to extend. The saddle is numbered as an 18 inch seat, the seat measures 17 inches. The size of the seat is not based on the size of the person, but rather the length of leg. I weigh 125 lbs but have a long leg, and this saddle was ideal. This is a deep seat made for a rider with narrow hips, and a rider with a distance from your seat to the saddle. In other words, if you straddle a chair and lower you seat as close to the chair seat as possible, and there is still a distance from your crotch to the seat of the chair, this saddle is for you.
