A rare vintage Vogt western headstall. Made in the early 1980's Loaded with heavy sterling silver berry edged conchos, buckle sets and silver trim.The bit clips attached were added later and are sterling silver overlaid.Headstall has 2 bridle loops 2 inches in width.
1 concho 1 3/4" screw back2 conchos 1 1/2 inch6 conchos 1 1/4 inch2 conchos 3/4 inch4 conchos 5/8 inch6 silver trim 2 inches.one buckle on the crown and one on the throatlatch.This headstall was made by Vogt has been used very little as a show bridle. Since the 1980's has been hanging in a trophy case.
Bridle leather shows wear but is not dry or cracked. Leather does need a good cleaningSilver has not been polished show aged patina.
