I have consulted 3 saddle veterans and they concur that the saddle has probably NEVER been ridden - the wool  underneath is exactly as brand new.......It has "sat" on a horse for photos and been cinched up a few times to lead little kids around a corral , and has been shuffled around a few tack rooms as there is  minor evidence of such.  I know it has sat on a saddle stand in a " man cave " for the better part of the last 20 years. A minor minor cleaning and " touch up " of just a few small areas and it could look like new again.......................certainly not that it looks "bad" in any way, but that a good leather worker could fully restore its original beauty.
