This is an 1890's Henry C. Hart Mfg. Co. Detroit. MI Matchless Repeater BB gun. This gun needs some repair. Not sure I know what needs repaired. It is marked Matchless on one side of the cast receiver and Repeater on the other side. The stock is good with some scratches and nicks,is stamped with the Hart logo. Missing the cleaning rod that fits in the slot along the bottom. The barrel is Nickel plated brass and in very good condition. Some of the nickel plating is missing. Both sights are present as is the rotating loading cap at the end of the barrel. There is a pin missing where the Barrel attaches to the compression chamber? The cocking lever works, but does not pump any pressure. The next to last picture shows the lever rod. The Square nut on the rod has a threaded hole and the nut must be turned up for the lever to close. Don't know if there is something inside that attached to the nut or if something is missing. Trigger pulls, but does not seam to fire anything. This is for repair, will not fire a projectile.
