This tent was used only one time. It is in excellent, almost new condition. It is very clean, and there are hardly any signs of use at all. This tent retailed for $590.00. The Sierra Designs "Tiros" Convertible CD (2 person) is legendary for being an absolutely bombproof 4 season tent. This is likely the strongest, most feature-filled convertible tent that Sierra Designs ever produced. There is 37 sq feet of interior space, and 18 sq feet of vestibule space. Interior height is 41 inches. With the addition of two vestibules and a mesh and fabric door at each end, the compact Tiros becomes truly winter expedition worthy. Two zip-away ceiling panels, together with Frog Eye vents provides excellent ventilation, and the Clip-Locs and 12 External Guy points ensure bombproof stability in the absolute fiercest of weather. The poles are extremely high quality and made of Easton 7075 aluminum. When sunny summer alpine meadows call you, leave over a pound of weight behind by zipping off a vestibule and taking out the removable pole sections. This tent weighs 7-9 lbs depending on ones chosen configuration. Do not let the "convertible" feature fool you though. This is NOT a gimmicky tent. According to famed tent designer Bob Howe (designer of the North Face "Mountain 25") the Sierra Designs "Tiros" geodesic tent is one of the select few that he would trust his safety to for a hard-core expedition to the Himalayas. Quite the endorsement by anyone's standards! If you don't have first hand experience with this tent then I'd highly recommend looking at some of its reviews online and see for yourself. This is a legendary, hardcore, and absolutely bombproof 4 season shelter that was constructed with the highest quality of materials. It comes from a smoke free home.
