This is my fully reconditioned 1940s PL53 Tilley lamp in excellent condition as you can see from the photos it has been restored to a lovely condition but it has a couple of very small dents in the tank (see photos) where the handle has been hitting the tank over the years but to be honest you can't really see them as they they are on the back as you would look at it and are hard to see at the best of times but just want to let people know, The hood and reflector are new as is the cage that holds the onion glass in, and these are not cheap items they are very high quality and really set the lamp off very well, the lamp is in fully working order but you will have to buy a pre starter off eBay as I only have my testing one and that's not for sale with any of my lamps sorry. However I will supply a new mantle with the lamp, I have tested this lamp with an old hood as I didn't want to spoil the new one or get it dirty, all the seals have been replaced with original tilley ones as they fit better and are more reliable. I would like to say thanks for looking and if you have any questions about the lamp please contact me. And I would also like to say I'm in no rush to sell this lamp and will not take any silly offers for it so don't waste my time or yours by asking... These lamp's are getting very hard to find in this condition now... Please note this lamp is for sale elsewhere and I reserve the right to end this listing early thank you. I will only ship to UK mainland only.
