The MCM v4 provides you driving comfort, ample power and battery reserves, driving parameter customization, lighting and an enhanced set of safety features.The MCM v4 is designed around a forceful 800 Watt motor with up to 1200 Watt peak output (Ninebot One has only 500 Watts). Expect forceful acceleration accross the entire speed spectrum. 14 inches unicycles generally have higher torque than larger wheel diameter unicyles for the same motor output. So the Gotway MCMv4 doesn't need to shy away from other high-end unicyles such as the Gotway MSuper.The MCMv4 comes in two battery configurations: 2 battery packs with a total 340 Wh, or 4 battery packs with 680 Wh (>4x typical entry level unicycles). The driving range of the biggest configuration is up to 40 mph (depends on driver weight, road condition and driving style). In general more battery has 3 advantages: extended range, less recharge cycles grant you longer battery life time, and higher reserves for power peaks - which is critical at battery capacities below 30%. Saving on battery is always a bad idea with any micromobility device.A powerful unicycle needs control. The oval design and a well-padded wide case provides a large surface between your inner legs and the unicycle. This not only gives a greater subjective feeling of driving control, but gives you tight control in few microseconds when you suddenly need it, for example with an unexpected bump riding at high speeds. Gotway followed Ninebot One's lead on pedal design and sponsored the MCMv4 some fantastic anti-skid rubber and aluminium pedals. The wider design than earlier MCM models adds to your driving comfort and prevents feet fatigue on longer cruises.Safety becomes a bigger topic at high speeds. The MCMv4 features a triple acoustic warning signal system at increasing speeds. Also side-tilt beyond 45° and voltage drop warnings enhance your safety. Beginners can set a max speed pedal tilt and increase driving hardness by app. But safety also comes from having ample power and battery reserves, the right unicycle weight (not too light), pedal height, unicycle symmetry and proportions. The 4th generation electronics controller are optimized for high ampere throughput with highest reliablity.Connect by the iOS/Android Gotway App to check speed, distance, voltage and set up driving parameters (max speed pedal tilt, warning noises, axis calibration, driving smoothness).
