The date stamp is 1 -- 63 on the bottom.
The lantern is very clean -- I didn't try to light the lantern (I have no coleman fuel) . I did test the pump and the tank holds pressure.The lantern is dent and ding free -- there are paint scrapes around the bottom rim where the lantern safe attachesand a little use marks that are very hard to even see.
