This auction is for a used 15" Pessoa pony saddle, with a short flap (SF) and medium-wide tree (see picture with measuring tape at front of pommel). The saddle's serial number is 455753. It comes with a used navy blue Dover saddle pad and original Pessoa saddle cover (see photos). Stirrups and leathers are not included. This saddle is in very good condition. It is made of quality leather with excellent workmanship. The leather does not show any signs of cracking or other damage and the tree is in great shape. This is a wonderful pony saddle, very comfortable and balanced for both horse and rider. I bought the saddle used about 5 years ago. My son used it from age about 7 to age about 11, riding several different horses and ponies. He mainly used it on a medium Welsh pony (around 13 hands), a large Welsh cob (around 14.2), and a 15.1 Appaloosa mare. It fit them all very well. He is average to tall for his age and the short flap worked very well for him, helping him to maintain a good position on the flat and jumping. The saddle has not been used for a couple of years so we are downsizing. We have cleaned and conditioned it regularly (both while he was using it and since) and kept it stored inside (in an air-conditioned room).
