Lawson Camping/Backpacking hammock tent My family and I have personally used these tents on backpacking, camping and day trips. My kids love them and agree they're very comfortable and easy to set up. You can hang them or use them on the ground. To hang them simply use rope or tie down straps. For ground use simply insert the tent rods and you're done. Use it with or without the rainfly on cooler nights the rainfly does help keep some of the warmth in. It's recommended that you tie your ropes about waist to chest height for easy access. As you can see from the photos of all of us below we use and enjoy them. These hammock tents have replaced our regular tents. No more uncomfortable nights sleeping on the ground or on mats. We have contests to see who can set them up the fastet my oldest son is the current record holder at just under 3 mins hanging. Lawson recommends a 275lb weight limit.
