This saddle is in fantastic condition and rides soooo nicely. The fit of these saddles....because of the upswept panels...would be good for shorter backed horses, as well as those that simply do not prefer the gusseted panels...( like the one that I purchased this for...I no longer have him). So may times one hears that these fit a variety of horses as well as riders. I think its the simplicity of the saddle. The panels are a felt pocket, with wool inside, so the saddle may be infinitely adjustable by adding flocking in the proper places but is smooth against the horse. I found that I needed a fitter out A LOT less than for say, my My Custom Saddlery saddle that is basically a big open balloon panel for the flocking. the Roosli is a perfect medium between foam panels and wool flocked. I wish they made all saddles like this, but they are more of a pain for your fitter...its harder to get the wool in. I found this saddle did not tip me forward at the pelvis as much as others. Of course this is a personal thing. After having children, it just doesn't fit as well so I'm giving it up a bit hesitantly...it really does fit so many horses and they go so well in it. The tree width...I would call this a Medium  / Medium W but I contacted Roosli and it is indeed a M. One of the pictures I have shows the tree angle very well.
