Spirit Keeper Equine Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) public charity committed to giving special needs horses at risk of euthanasia or slaughter a safe, loving environment putting the well being of each horse first. In 2016 we have been hit hard with veterinary expenses and the addition of 10 horses all at once, brining our total to 42. Donations and contributions from board members are not keeping up to cover the financial burden. Our director has donated her much loved and very expensive saddle as a fundraiser. It was purchased new for $2699.00 (saddle only with no fittings) and has been impeccably cared for and meticulously ridden in during her training with Ralf Schmitzer of Germany and Jean Luc Cornille from France with whom she studies the Science of Motion. It is a saddle she thought she would never part with but in keeping with our mission to always put the horses first she is letting it go to raise money for winter shelters. We currently have 9 horses on property with no shelter for the coming winter. Additional photographs and information available about this saddle upon request. She has been the sole owner and rider. The saddle is a beautiful brown leather Bates Isabell dressage saddle, 17.5 inch seat, interchangeable gullet system, CAIR panels, removable knee rolls.
