16" MacPherson Custom Saddle Model 602. MacPherson has been making saddles generationally since 1900. This company is known for its high quality craftsmanship and these saddles are collectible.This saddle in an A fork Wade, has a 16 inch seat, 7 inch gullet, 4 inch high cantle, 4 inch roping horn wrapped with traditional mule hide, and rope strap. It has a double rigging, quarter horse bars, an all rawhide tree and is full basket stamped and has genuine sheep skin lining. It also has the Wyoming roll on the stirrups which eliminates knee and ankle pain as the stirrups always turn backward due to the leather wrapping on the fender. I had this saddle completely gone through by my local saddle maker and it is in great condition and has lots of life! The only reason I am selling it is because it does not fit my new horse properly. We operate an 800+ cow/calf operation in the high mountains of Wyoming and I spend about 5-8 hours a day horse back. This saddle is one of the most comfortable saddles I've ever owned.
