Haglofs Oxo Gore-Tex Walking Shoes
Oxo GT: a comfortable, grippy leather trekking boot for long journeys. Designed to support a heavy backpack, it uses FluidRide for a perfect stride and GORE-TEX offers protection from the elements.
Gore-Tex Upper The upper of Haglofs Oxo Gore-Tex Walking Shoes are constructed with 1.5 mm water repellent nubuck which provides durability and keeps your feet dry. Also equipped with Gore-Tex Performance Comfort Footwear which is designed for outdoor use in moderate weather conditions. They combine durable waterproofness and optimised breathability, offering enduring waterproof protection and optimised climate comfort. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside. Thanks to their innovative construction they are an ideal solution for the widest range of outdoor activities and changing weather conditions. The high cut profile of the shoe provides extra support, stability and protection, while the moulded rubber reinforced toe ensures added protection against loose debris. Lastly, the upper features a tongue gusset to prevent snow and water from entering the shoe, a lace locking system for easy individual lacing and a curved shaped collar for ultimate comfort.
FluidRide Midsole Fitted with FluidRide Technology which is a dual density midsole to help with a natural and balanced stride. Cushioning and stability. These two requirements are combined in the revolutionary ASICS GEL system. Equipped with GEL rearfoot cushioning, it ensures good shock absorption. The ASICS GEL Cushioning System consists of various GEL which is made from fatigue-proof silicone material resulting in a consistently high inertia of the GEL components when subjected to pressure. The revolutionary midsole material solyte significantly reduces shoe weight and outperforms all previous ASICS impact standards. Solyte is a modern copolymer and is much lighter than SpEVA or conventional EVA. It is characterised by excellent cushioning properties and very high recovery potential and is a very sturdy, durable material. While the SpEVA midsole material is the optimised version of the traditional ASICS EVA material. It consists of rubber-like macromolecules that extremely quickly regenerate after each impact and assume their original shape. The next step is permanently effectively cushioned and the forward movement of the foot is accelerated. Lastly, the midsole of the Oxo shoe is fitted with a molded trustic chassi and heel cup to provide stability, torsion control and comfort.
AHAR+ Outsole AHAR+ is a new compound of blown ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber (AHAR) on the outsole. This material is used in high-friction areas of the shoe, which cuts down on excessive wear. Also designed with large self-cleaning grooves for continous and safe evacuation of mud, snow and debris.
