Portuguese Saddle with leather saddle pad, crupper, steel stirrups, stirrup leathers and cloth saddle cover. Seat of the saddle is suede, the trim is black leather with tooling detail. The saddle tree is marine plywood fixed with steel. Sized to fit a person who would ride in a 17 inch English saddle. The leather saddle pad has never been used. The girth is 48 " with a 6 " extender. Both the girth and the extenders are genuine leather This fits horses that at 16-16.5 hands. The stirrups are 3" wide providing a secure feel. The stirrup leathers have tooled buckles and are placed underneath the flaps of the saddle. There is leather patch that covers the buckles to protect the underside of the saddle. The crupper is leather. This saddle makes you feel very secure and puts you in the correct position. Great for show ring or trail riding; and of course, bull fighting! |
