Purchased new in June 2014 from West 20 Saddlery at The Equine Affaire, This is an Original Western Dressage Saddle made in USA by family owned and run Crates Leather Co. Chattanooga, TN. W201-2. Heavy medium oil, Full Quarter Horse Bars, regular Steele Equifit wood tree, with 15" ultra padded "bomber" leather seat. This is a "close contact" artisan model specially designed for Western Saddle and equitation. Very comfortable for horse and rider, helps the rider achieve a proper balanced position. Round skirt, deep wide pocket, narrow twist, brass conches, all shell border tooling. A very classy saddle! You will be noticed in the arena and on the trails for its quality and simplicity in both form and function. I sadly must sell. My gelding filled out and now needs a wider tree:(
