Optimus 199 Ranger Backpacking Camp Stove

This is a small 2 lb, 5 inch square, 4 inch high, pressurized liquid fuel stove made in the 80's.  These stoves are capable of operating with multiple fuels with proper fuel jets installed.  This stove has a fuel jet installed for White Gas (Coleman Fuel).
The stove comes with it's all original burner components, pressurizing mini-pump, pot racks, pot handle and fuel control valve key.For those not familiar with these little stoves - The burner must be preheated before pressurizing fuel tank to turn liquid fuel into gas.  Preheating is started before the fuel tank is pressurized.  ** Be aware that preheating the burner creates some rather high flames in and around the main burner (see next to last photo).  There are several videos on You Tube dedicated to lighting these stoves.

Condition - The stove is clean and in "Good" working order (see photos).  The stove puts out a powerful blue flame after the main burner is properly **Preheated.  I was able to bring 4 1/2 cups of water to rapid boil in a small 6 1/2 inch tall aluminum coffee pot in 6 1/2 minutes.
