You are bidding for 100% original vintage unique hand made HERMES Paris Steinkraus Saddle, Size 16", numbered "33 371" created specifically for Hermès flagship store on the Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris in December 1989, to be an amazing example of the Hermes craftsmanship. It was displayed on a FSH Hermes showcase in Paris for a few years. The saddle is triple Hermes signed and numbered. Hermes still continue the tradition today of making their saddles by hands, that's why the simplest saddle will cost you around $7000. Anyone who's touched or handled their saddles will attest to the fact that they are works of art. The Steinkraus saddle is intended for showjumping, hunter-jumper and equitation classes. It is associated with a natural, unrestrained, sporty seat, with all the style and finesse that this implies. A flat saddle designed for perfectly balanced riding, the Steinkraus allows the rider great freedom of movement.
