I have owned this saddle for 2 years and rode gaited horses and quarter horses in it. It does feel like your bareback. This is a well maintained saddle. and I have kept it regularly cleaned and oiled. The leather is very soft and butter smooth. Besides small scruff markers from normal use - the only damage to note is that they pommel zipper broke. I never went and had it fixed because it stayed in the saddle and I have never had a problem with it. They zip in and out so if you want to change the pommel to a different height. I have a second pommel that will be included in the sale. This saddle I believe is a size 1. which I believe fits a 14 in to 15 inch saddle. Please see pictures it measure 16 inches if you measured it like a regular western saddle.
