This is our special police model Australian saddle. These saddles from Sydney Saddleworks are specially made to the requirements of various mounted police units. Special requirements for this run of mounted saddles as follows:No tooling and no marking on the saddleAll black top of the line leatherHeavier reinforcement on tree and stirrup pegsBlack threadStainless steel hardware.No horn ( required for safety of the rider )Fully adjustable fendersStainless steel irons premium qualityPremium wool felt in black only on undersideThese above requirements are common with mounted unitsThe saddle has a quarterhorse size tree with 7" gullet which will fit nicely on most horses with average size withersWe made 70 of these saddles for a special police contract and they only took 50 so we have some leftover for sale.This saddle has an 18" Australian size seat which is equivalent in size to a 16" western saddle seat.We guarantee the tree for life to the original purchaser. You must have the original receipt.Note - the saddle pad is not included - we have all the matching tack in the same superior quality black leather with black stitching and stainless steel fittings - we will list some complete packages.
