Brand New unused & Boxed Thermarest Neoair Xtherm Max - Large (63 x 196cm) Complete with official battery powered pump Original invoice supplied Thermarest NeoAir Xtherm Max The Thermarest NeoAir Xtherm Max is the same mattress as the XTherm but Thermarest have squared it off making it cover a larger area, ideal for use in extreme conditions and for larger people. This superlight inflatable air mattress that can easily cope with 4-season use, this is thanks to a unique reflective baffle construction. The Neoair XTherm has an R-Value (a measure of thermal insulation) of 5.7, this is more than that of self inflating mats weighing four times as much as - this means that in terms of warmth to weight ratio, nothing comes close. The outer fabrics have been improved and are now a soft textured fabric that provides superb next to skin comfort and are a lot quieter leading to a better nights sleep. The textured fabric also provides greater slip resistance, in other words you and your bag are less likely to slip off the mattress. The ThermaCapture technology featured in the Neoair XTherm is a series of baffles made from a reflective fabric which provides an almost complete barrier to radiative heat loss. Unlike the mats with which Thermarest is almost synonymous, the Neoair range is not self inflating, instead it needs to be inflated by lung or pump power leading to its great advantage, low weight. At 430g the Neoair Xtherm is astonishingly light, especially for a mat designed to be warm enough for expedition use.
