Up for sale is a single aluminum injection mold for molding a disc golf Driver. 4 molds are available (sold separately) and the molds were acquired from a business closing and are in good condition. Polished mold surfaces with no wear on the surface of each part. The aluminum molds will run approximately 100,000 pieces per a molds life and have approximately 10,000 pieces on each of them so you can get at least 90,000 more shots out of each mold. This auction contains a mold that has as single A and B plate with multiple attachment points for use on most 150ton or greater injection molding machines. Cooling lines and mounting plates that are specific to each injection mold machine are not included as seen in the picture above. Mold plates only are part of auction. These molds have run a multitude of materials including TPU, TPE, PP, PE as well as chemical foaming agents. Each mold has previously been PDGA approved and are within standards currently to be used in PDGA play. The person that purchases these molds can buy one or multiple molds and can be given the contact info for the company that can run these molds if you do not own a injection mold. Typically $3 per part is the cost to run each disc which includes material based on info given during the estate closing. If you are interested in hotstamping your own discs a hotstamp machine can be purchased for $1,000 separately. Mold 1: Big Bead Putter mold with no brand tooling so new branding can be easily added Mold 2: Neutral midrange mold with tooling Mold 3: Long Distance Stable speed 12 driver with tooling Mold 4: Overstable Speed 7 Fairway Driver with tooling *the tooling (branding of previous owner) can be easily removed with a simple grind down of the name.
