17.5" ALBION KONTROL Close Contact Jump saddle - CHEAP!! Made in England.

17.5" ALBION KONTROL Close contact jump saddle in used condition. Medium tree. Made in England. This saddle has seen some sustained seasons of use and is what I would consider schooling quality at this point. What it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for by being in excellent structural shape. Tree is sound. Billets are sturdy. Flocking is good - no bumps or unevenness. Albion Saddlery make some of the worlds finest English made saddles and tack. They are renowned for not only their quality but also for their durability. This saddle would be absolutely perfect for someone on a budget, as a schooling saddle for a trainer or as a spare to use when the weather gets nasty.
Condition issues are as follows - ~ One of the billet straps is missing. This is an easy and inexpensive fix as the billet fixture is still in place. ~ There is a small rip in one of the knee pads. Could easily be patched by a saddler. ~ The removable velcro knee blocks are gone. Again this is an easy fix - you can either get cheaper Wintec Flexiblocs for it or go with higher quality Albion blocks you can get from a Dealer.~ There are numerous dings and scrapes on it from use. There is a superficial gouge in the side of the cantle.~ The seat seams have wear and there is cracking and spider veining on the seat from use. ~ There is general discoloration and darkening on the seat and flaps. Again this saddle has been heavily used. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT ALL PICS & ASK FOR MORE IF CONCERNED.Seat measures a true 17.5".Gullet measures approx 4.5" side to side.Flap length measures approx 13"Flap width measures approx 14"Serial Number is illegible at this point.
