SUPER RARE-SANTA CRUZ SNOWBOARD Collect rare, one of a kind snowboards? This board was made at the Volkl factory in Germany for Santa Cruz. The model is an H 151-SC. H-Type is the series, 151cm size, SC refers to Santa Cruz's Step Cap technology at the time. It was used in the mid 90's (95/96) as a teaching tool for reps clinics. The reps would bring this board to their premium accounts, use it as a teaching tool for the employees and then leave it for the shop to show the customers the technology in their boards. It's top sheet allows you to see the core and the text describes all of the technology the board offers. It is brand new and is in nearly mint condition. It has 2 very small cosmetic blemishes that are barely visible unless pointed out. It has some slight oxidation (zero rust) on the edges but has been stored in a bag in a climate controlled area. This is a fully rideable, normal production board and just the top sheet was designed only for reps. It has never had bindings mounted. The top sheet is remarkably clean, no marks, and all of the tech text is crystal clear. Inserts are rust free. I currently work in a shop and have the ability to belt grind, stone grind, clean the edges and wax at no extra charge if so desired. I have emailed Santa Cruz Snowboards about the details of this board and received confirmation about its age, history, and reason for being produced. As stated it's extremely rare and not many were made.
