About The Original Silva Ranger Type 15 Deluxe Compass In 1964 Silva Ranger Type 15 deluxe compass was introduced with optional adjustable declination, clinometer, and quadrant scale. Silva is simply outstanding, there is no other way to describe this fine compass maker. Confidence is assured when holding a Silva. This is the original Type 15. No longer in production. This model was exclusively made in Sweden. Not sure exactly what year, maybe someone can tell by the pictures but could probably be considered an "antique". There is some light wear, please view the photos. The compass is fully functioning and there are no loose parts or damage.Did not clean as I did not want to harm it in any way.Own a piece of history. Type 15 is rare. I doubt you will be able to find one anywhere except in specialty shops or pawn shops. I leave positive feedback for anyone who leaves me one.
