Montane Spine Outdoor Pants Versatile, breathable shell pants
Gore-Tex Active Shell 30 Denier super breathable shell pants, featured for all round mountain versatility.
The Montane Spine Outdoor Pants are equipped with Gore-Tex Active Shell which combines a lighter, thinner Gore-Tex membrane with fine denier performance textiles to deliver a durably waterproof fabric for very little weight. A proprietary lamination technology integrates the backer textile directly into the Gore-Tex membrane allowing for extreme breathability and excellent next to skin comfort. Equipped with a tailored fit to minimise excess fabric for a close fit over legwear while the articulated knees and gusseted crotch provide ease of movement while mountain walking. For ultimate comfort, the waistband is elasticated with an additional cinchable drawcord closure for a close snug fit. With use of a press stud hem, it ensures it can be adjusted for a close fit against footwear. The pants are fitted with 3/4 Aquaguard zips which provide substantial protection from the elements and allow for easy on/off over footwear. This water-resistant zip features a polyurethane laminated tape combined with VisIon technology; plastic moulded teeth to reduce weight and afford a smooth and hassle-free operation. Behind the zips, an internal storm flap is featured for increased weather protection and ergonomic zip pullers make them easier to use when wearing gloves and mitts.
