In excellent condition. Bought in 2014, same year this model was redesigned and released. Same as current model. They will be releasing a new heavier redesign later this year or next. Only went backpacking once and car camped less than 5 nights alway on top of a ground sheet. Washed only with water after every use and dried. Stored in room temperature in closet. There is very little visible wear (scratching) on the ends of the poles where they touch the ground. Fabric of the tent body and fly have no signs of wear. It comes with aluminum J-stakes that go into the ground super easy. I've only used 4 of them one-time. (I have titanium stakes that I use which are .1 oz lighter.) So, minimal signs of use on 4 of them. The rest of the stakes are new. I have removed the consumer tags inside the tent that's shown in the picture.REI Quarter Dome 2 is an ultralight backpacking tent that is fully freestanding. (You won't have to stake it down if you don't want to.) The large vent on top is enough to prevent most condensation. Quarter Dome 2 is similar to Big Agnes Copper Spur but a bit bigger with more gear storage for 3 ounces more. I am 6'1 and feet and head don't touch the tent when sleeping unlike most backpacking tents. I also think it looks better with the old REI logo. If you want ultralight and lots of utility--freestanding, 2 vestibules, 2 doors, more storage, this is the best tent.
