Outer Material The outer shell of the garment utilises PERTEX® Quantum Rip-stop. Pertaining highly abrasion resistant properties, the jacket features fabrics crafted with a special reinforcing technique. The result is an intelligent design proving highly resistant to tearing and ripping. PERTEX® Quantum incorporates windproofing as protective measure, combined with a stable downproof construction. DWR (Durable Water Repellent) The exterior has been finished with a DWR treatment. This specialised treatment prevents water from protruding through all extremities culminating in a 'hydrophobic' finish.
Insulation PrimaLoft® Gold Luxe Equipped with premium PrimaLoft® Gold Luxe synthetic fill which combines the loft and fill power properties of down with the fast-drying warmth of traditional PrimaLoft® insulation; ensures unrivalled warmth and wet-weather performance. The result is a luxuriously silky fill, with the warmth, compressibility and lightweight loft of down. HyperDRY Hydrophobic Down An added level of weather protection sees a water resistant treatment applied to the down from the masters of the material at Allied feather and down. HyperDRY is an evolution of water resistant down (WRD) which has surpassed its early incarnations in every way, leading to the creation that is now HyperDRY. Built upon years of research and development of the previously successful Allied resist water resistant down. Through constantly pushing boundaries, Allied developed proprietary nanotechnology treatments and procedures creating the most effective water resistant down on the market. The methods provide an invisible coating that does not compromise the texture or colour of the fill whilst offering more effective water resistance than synthetic water resistant treatments. Internal Construction PEAQ Down lines the jacket, attaching itself to all the internal confinements of the jacket. Through the injection of PEAQ, the jacket is able to maintain high levels of breathability whilst remaining intelligently fast drying against excessive moisture.
