Perfect for through hikers or global expeditions where resupply is unlikely, the Katadyn Pocket Filter will filter up to 13, 0ls before you need to replace the filter cartridge. The Pocket Filter uses a silver-impregnated ceramic filter element to eliminate bacteria, viruses, cysts, protozoa and other nasties in "wild" water that can do a number on your insides. It also eliminates algae, spores, sediment and reduces radioactive particles (although we hope you never have the misfortune to come across any water contaminated with radioactive particles).
