Measures 17" from front to back. It's a nice deep brown leather and it is like new. I have never used it since I have a nice Aussie. I did try it on my mare and sat in it and it is very comfortable with the extra cushy endurance seat. Has been carefully stored. High quality, oval brass plate says English Campbell Saddlery.Comes with leathers, silver irons are stamped England and the stirrup pads say 4 2/4 (1/2").
