You are bidding on a Surefire A2 Aviator flash light.
I took this wonderful light that I have cherished for years to a machine shop to bore out to accept a 18650 battery. Well let's just say, the kid at the machine shop took it down a bit to much and the tail cap thread came off. Now I have a tube with light and I am unable to put the tail cap on the tube. In the right hands this can be a simple cheap repair. I don't have a lathe or the know how in fixing this light so I am stuck giving up this Jem. I am a professional pilot and this light has traveled around the world and back with me. I wish I had the ability to repair it my self because this item is a collectors item. If you have read this far, you know exactly what you are bidding on. Please understand as the light sits it does not work. It needs to be repaired and will be as good as new. Take a look at the pictures. There is very minimal scratches on it as I have cherished this light for many years and took real good care of it. Included is everything pictured. The A2 body, the A2 bezel with red LED and white xenon bulb, the A2 twist tail cap, the broken off tread and the brass ring from inside the broken off tread. Remember this tube has been bored out to accept the 18650 battery. The picture with the battery shows the 18650 installed. The battery is not included in the sale.
Again this light currently does not work in its present condition. It needs to be repaired to work. Item is being sold "AS IS."
