when you press + hold red button it lights and its quite powerful it lights like daylight pure white-light
the warranty seals are intact , the second black button seems to do nothing ?the faulty one does not power on i presume its the bulb? the warranty seals are not intact + one battery foot is missing the battery is a mbp-1207 i have opened it to charge the battery directly and it charged and thats how i tested the lights using the one connecting cable , if it was up to me i would chnage the ni-cad battery for lion laptop 18650 battery's , and make a charger , but i will leave this project to you , in summary one light seems to work ok
other is for parts + battery with no guarantee on life expectancy
