Description Brand: Martin Saddlery Model: Clinton Anderson Saddle Type: All Around MPN: Does Not Apply Color: Brown Saddle Size: 13"
This saddle is in lovely condition but for a couple scrapes by the horn. (See pics.) I used it to start a couple of colts and one rolled in it. It is a very nice saddle - comfortable and fits a wide range of horses well. It certainly helps to keep you in your seat on a somewhat squirrely youngster. This is the smallest size they sell. I usually ride a 16.5 " saddle in English saddles and a 14.5 in western. I am 5'3" and around 115lbs. I did switch to a grippier English style stirrup.Clinton's Aussie Saddle combines the best features of an Aussie stock saddle and an American western saddle. Made exclusively for Downunder Horsemanship by Martin Saddlery, this saddle is built to work and keep you and your horse comfortable while doing it. The saddle tree is precisely assembled with specific angles of alignment to help ensure you have a secure seat, and free-swinging fenders help you balance your weight and keep your feet in proper position. Perfect for trail riding or as a working/training saddle. For the horse, the saddle is specially designed to encourage and accommodate lateral flexion and movement of the horse's five body parts, as well as to provide protection during hard stops and turns. The saddle's smaller, more rounded profile than a typical western saddle is light and comfortable for your horse.
