I designed this saddle myself. Received it in October, started riding in December and sold the horse I bought it for in February. Has beautiful buck stitching and Indian head conchos. Feather tooling it is beautiful!! $3500 new! Upgraded foam bottom. The Elite Pro Barrel Racer is designed with features found in the traditional barrel racing saddle. The Elite Pro has the same front and bars as the Double J Pro Barrel Racer but with a flatter ground seat and a new 4” Comfort Cantle. The cantle is designed with a natural flow connecting you to your seat and horse for a very comfortable ride, especially around the turn. It also has a wider tree design, which is 2 degrees flatter on each side of the bar with a 7” gullet width, producing a saddle that keeps the shoulders free and helps eliminate riding up in the back. We shortened the saddle horn which is 3 ½” tall with a slight forward tilt. It includes the same nylon stirrup leathers, aluminum stirrups, and high-density closed cell foam lined skirts and 3-way rigging system. The flatter ground seat, Comfort Cantle, and forward hung fenders keep the rider balanced and secure throughout the run. Top barrel racers riding the Elite Pro with success are Kenna Squires, Kassie Mowrey, Danielle Campbell and Jamie Hodges.
