A proprietary lamination technology integrates the backer textile directly into the Gore-Tex membrane allowing for extreme breathability and excellent next to skin comfort.The jacket has technical tailoring around the arms to prevent arm lift raising the lower hem whilst reaching high. This is particularly greater when you need to maintain maximum coverage from the elements when on steep or tricky terrain that is exposed. The jacket is also tailored specifically to be worn over lightweight and low bulk baselayers or mid layers to keep you feeling warm and comfortable during cold conditions. To also keep the warmth in, shaped hook and loop tab cuff adjustments combined with pre-elasticated allows easy cinching in around the wrists.The hood features various benefits to keep you protected from the elements, including the adjustable face aperture with internal cord exits and the mid-height collar which offers more protection when needed. The inside of the roll over beard guard is lined with brushed fine microfleece to ensure maximum comfort next to the mouth and chin. Lastly, the hood is fitted with a trail hood design to fit closely over trail headwear and with a laminated hood peak which provides a more stable yet supple fit.Constructed with a full-length front zip equipped with YKK AquaGuard Zips which provide substantial protection from the elements. These water resistant zip features a polyurethane laminated tape which is combined with VisIon technology; plastic moulded teeth to reduce weight and afford a smooth and hassle-free operation. Fitted with an internal storm flap behind the centre front zip for increased weather protection.The jacket features a YKK Aquaguard zipped chest pocket which is designed to fit a GPS or a mobile phone in without it bouncing during movement.
