ORIGINAL MAX SIEVERT® KEROSENE (PARAFFIN) HEATING LAMP Model # TUREN 3098 Rare TUREN MODEL aka “ ROCKET MODEL “ TWO 1083 Roarer Burners with Flame Rings and Burner Plate marked ONE 1009 Roarer Burner with Rising TubeLarge Capacity 2.25L /4 pint Container Don’t miss out on this unique modelAdd this to your collection.Known for its sales code word “ TUREN ", it is often referred to as a rocket model of the Max Sievert Stockholm lineage, I believe it is a Model 3098 Paraffin Heating Lamp since it has 3 burners and is in the 3096 to 3099 family. Seems to be a special order model since it has TWO of the No 1851 Handles, as these were only available by request with the factory. Also since this model does not have a platform or supports for a burner plate, it suggests an industrial use in manufacturing as a torch lamp. Wm A Meyer Ltd featured these as “ Sievert Industrial Lamps “ Specially designed and constructed for use on Oil Engines with “hot spot” ignition and many other industrial services where intense but portable applied heat is required. Two burners are the same type and are the same height but are higher than the unique third burner of a different type. According to the Sievert catalogue this model was designed for "Voluminous and intense distribution over a large surface”. I am not an expert.
