Take a lookie here! Up for your consideration is a Hereford Brand Tex Tan of Yoakum western saddle, not quite sure of it's age. We called the company but due to a fire, the records have been burnt up. If someone really wants to know more about it, you can send pictures in and they will do their best to tell you the age, model, etc.
This saddle is about 15" (please see pictures), and it seems to be semi-QH bars unless we measured in the wrong spot ( please see pictures), the seat is suede, there is an intricate floral design carved in the leather. The coloring/shading on this saddle is beautiful. I'd describe the leather as good condition. The only pieces that show dryness are a couple of concho tassels.
The issues with this saddle would be, due to being carelessly stored a corner is turned in a little and the concho cap is missing from the saddle horn.
It's good quality leather, not cheap. It's been cleaned up and conditioned but by no means is it 100% clean. It could use some more cleaning for it to be perfect. This saddle is a solid piece but surprisingly not ultra heavy like some older saddles. It weighs approximately 30 lbs.
