Up for auction is this Amazing RARE CUSTOM GAYLERD THISSEL WESTERN SILVER SHOW SADDLE. Gaylerd Thissel is a Master Saddlemaker, 86 years old young. He was awarded the Academy of Western Artists Award of "Saddlemaker of the Year" in 2004. He is no longer producing saddles but this is one of his true beauties. It is fully hand tooled with flowers, solid sterling (horn cap, corner plates and etc....see photos). It is a 15.5" seat, all Herman Oak Leather, Sheepskin lining with full Quarter Horse Bars. It is a Cadillac to ride in.... Please feel free to ask any questions prior to end of auction. The silver needs a real cleaning if desired to be bright and shiny.
